I am not who I want to be, nor what I can,

Not a girl or a woman, a boy or a man,

I am not a creation, who lives from another,

Forced to play by the rules, one way or another,

I am not perfection, nor a failure at hand,

Whatever I say you will not understand.

I am not who you think I am, nor the one you consider,

Not a loner, a loser, a player or winner.

I am not a competitor, who plays every game,

To win or to lose, to me it's all the same.

I am not eternity, nor everlasting hope,

Whatever I write will always be trope.

I am not who I'm supposed to be, or who I wish,

Not a ghoul or a demon, a villain or witch,

I am not a fiend, who seeks to be victor,

Not a liar, a thief, a traitor or trickster,

I'm not an illusion, nor a truth to believe,

Not a seer or a seeker, a ghost or a peeve.

I am what I am, but a truth in a lie,

An idea and a dream, just a fact left to die,

I am who I am, not a name you will know,

A heart and a mind, the rest time will show.

Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Xelica Cxryillia. And I have been writing for as long as I can remember, and yes I admit, sometimes my head is stuck in the Clouds. But the truth is there is always a story writing itself in my head, whether I am asleep or awake, and I have little control over what happens. The story tells itself, I just have the honor of being able to experience it as the main character. And I have many tales to tell; everything I see, read, or hear becomes an inspiration for a new story. And as you might know there is something new to discover each and every day. Which of course can sometimes be more troublesome than helpful; before one story has time to reach its ending, a new one has already begun. But no matter the distractions, I'd never give it up, imagine being able to explore far of worlds, or have any talent you want. And all you have to do is close your eyes and let go of reality.

I mostly write fantasy stories, well, ok, almost exclusively. My writing style has changed over the years, and adapts to the story; first person, or third person view, quirky and funny, or desciptive and serious. And always in english, even though I might be fluent in German.
